Magazine.

TRAINERSPOTTER Spring and Summer 10

The SS10 collection is inspired by classic 1940's and 50's animation, skateboarding, surfing and US college sportswear.

Graphic influences are drawn from WW2 squadron patches, 70's Californian Skate brands, the Vietnam War and the Black Power Movement.

Sweatshirts, hoods and pants combine signature details from early Champion sports apparel with colours reminiscent of 1980s surf-culture t-shirts in a postmodern fusion.

Forgotten College pieces such as the short sleeve sweatshirt are reinvented for the 21st century with a Trainerspotter twist whilst the Palm logo is transformed into an embroidered applique, subtly subverting the iconic 'badge' logos of certain 70s and 80s sports brands.

Complimented by a range of headwear and sunglasses that follow the same themes, the SS10 collection continues the Trainerspotter tradition of sports meets fashion with a nod to the street. Help mould the future by celebrating the past.

The Spring 10 collection is released Mid Feb, please sign up to the news letter for further updates.
